Selected work

Experience across support, systems, and software.

01

Embedded systems / Cybersecurity

Thinklogical Engineering Intern

Used C, Bash, Linux tools, and testing workflows to overhaul cybersecurity scripts, develop embedded interface features, and evaluate critical system performance.

My experience isn't just limited to the classroom and personal projects. I have real experience working on secure systems and implementing upgrades to production code. I can help you diagnose issues, increase performance, and add features to codebases in professional development environments, all while delivering detailed but concise documentation.

02

Emerging technology / Education

Innovate Labs Tech Lab Assistant

Help UConn students build with AI, cybersecurity, Python, SQL, robotics, microcontrollers, 3D printing, web development, and machine learning through workshops, outreach, and presentations.

  • SQL
  • 3D printing
  • Public speaking

Running workshops across a dozen technologies has made me a fast, clear explainer and teacher of difficult concepts, which pays off in teams that require both technical understanding and accessible communication. I'm also able to create connections with customers, whether that's as simple as following up with an email or taking initiative to meet up with interested persons to help them go deeper into a certain product.

03

IT support / Client services

UConn IT-SLE Customer Support Agent

Provide in-person and remote support for hardware, software, and AV issues across Windows and macOS systems, using Jira and other tools to resolve tickets for students and faculty.

  • Software support
  • AV troubleshooting
  • Customer service

Resolving real hardware and software failures daily across several devices and systems allows me to help you isolate problems reliably and efficiently. I am also able to stay both clear and composed with users over the phone, so in a customer-oriented or team setting, I can handle pressure and communicate clearly.

04

AI research / Technical fellowship

BEACON Student Fellow

Research and technical fellowship focused on beneficial and ethical AI, working with graduate and undergraduate students to discuss, explore, and raise awareness about AI safety.

  • Reinforcement learning
  • Technical writing

Collaborating with graduate AI researchers gave me a wider view of where the technology is heading and what its failure modes actually look like. Teams building AI-enabled products benefit from having someone who thinks critically about risks and tradeoffs and makes careful and informed decisions, which is a capability I bring to the table.

Personal projects

Things I build on my own time.

Productivity / Python

AntiScroll

A local YouTube hub that only surfaces videos from channels you've explicitly chosen and filters out the junk. This means no YouTube Shorts and less hours sucked away by the algorithm. Connects to the YouTube Data API v3, stores everything in SQLite, and runs entirely as a local web app. I built this because I care about usability and straightforward solutions, a valuable skill in any workplace. Give it a try on your own machine!

Hardware / TypeScript

Life Calendar

A household calendar I built with Claude for a Raspberry Pi touchscreen to help me and my wife manage daily tasks and remember birthdays, groceries, calls to make, and other routines. Built with a TypeScript, Vite, and local SQLite stack, with no cloud accounts or subscriptions required. If I find places in a workflow that can be optimized, I am capable of planning out a solution and learning new technologies to build it.

Data Science / Machine Learning

Exam Predictor

A machine learning model that predicts student exam scores from behavioral and study variables with high accuracy. Parses a CSV into a Pandas dataframe, cleans and encodes categorical data, trains a regression model with Scikit-Learn, and visualizes predictions against actuals with Matplotlib and Seaborn. I care about being able to measure results and present them in a way that is clear, accessible, and supported by data.

About

I care about practical systems and personal impact.

I’m pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science at the University of Connecticut with a concentration in cybersecurity. My experience spans engineering internships and projects, embedded interface work, applied AI research, IT support, technology workshops, and Python projects built for real users.

My wife Bella and I live in Northern Connecticut. Outside of technology, I enjoy playing music, reading, teaching, and staying involved in my community. I’ve hosted and produced a holiday telethon that raised $15,000 to fight muscular dystrophy and I've taught history and philosophy both online and in groups at UConn.
